Rate Structure
Wholesale Power Contracts
Wholesale power contracts require member distribution cooperatives to pay for power in accordance with ODEC's FERC formula rate. This rate, filed with and accepted by FERC, is designed to recover ODEC's total cost of service and create a firm equity base.
The formula rate structure provides stability and predictability for both ODEC and its member cooperatives, ensuring that costs are allocated fairly and transparently.
